Woman arrested over Dublin murder

Ciarán Noonan was bundled into a car at Dublin’s East Wall on 20 October, and his remains were found weeks later in a Co Meath field.

GARDAÍ HAVE MADE another arrest in connection with the murder of Ciarán Noonan last month.

Witnesses have described seeing Noonan being assaulted and forced into a car at Dublin’s East Wall on 20 October. His remains were discovered in a field in Co Meath near Trim earlier this month.

Gardaí today arrested a 24-year-old woman in the Dublin area in connection with their investigation into Noonan’s death.

She is being held at Store Street Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Over the weekend two men arrested in connection with the investigation were released without charge – they were the sixth and seventh persons arrested since the inquiry began
