Johnson was shot dead as he sat in a car outside his home in Dublin earlier this year.

A WOMAN HAS been arrested over the murder of 20-year-old Dean Johnson, who was shot dead as he sat in a car in Dublin earlier this year.

The 24-year-old female was taken into custody in west Dublin yesterday evening. Her arrest came shortly after two men, one 33 and one 26, were arrested on Monday morning. The pair were still in custody last night.

The two men were the first to be arrested in the garda investigation of the killing.

Dean Johnson was shot while sitting in a car near his home on Moorfield Avenue, Clondalkin in May. He was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The arrested woman is being held at Ballyfermot garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.
