A WOMAN IN her 20s was dragged under a rush-hour tube train in London, eyewitnesses have claimed.
British Transport Police said her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening and there were no suspicious circumstances, according to the Guardian.
Police and ambulances were at the scene at Clapham South Station.
The London Fire Brigade told the Independent two fire engines and a fire rescue unit were sent to the station and they used a “scoop stretcher” to rescue the woman.
Several commuters reacted to the news on Twitter, calling on Transport for London to deal with overcrowding issues at stations.
There were delays for about an hour, but normal service has since resumed.
The incident has been reported to the Rail Accident Investigation Bureau.
