Woman released in Mallow fire investigation

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A WOMAN ARRESTED in connection with a fire that killed two men in Cork has been released.

Gardaí say that the woman in her 20s was released late last night, and that a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The woman was arrested yesterday afternoon and questioned at Mallow Garda Station.

The two men were found at an apartment at Granary Court in the town last Thursday. A man and a woman were rescued from the apartment building, but gardaí and fire services were unable to re-enter the building and save the two men.
