A PHOTOGRAPH OF the unidentified girl found outside the GPO on 10 October will be released by the gardaí tomorrow.
The young teenager was found in a distressed state outside the GPO and is believed not to be Irish. She was taken into the care of the Health Service Executive after being found.
As gardaí continue to search for her identity, the Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan took the step of having a lawyer ask the High Court if they could release a photograph of her publicly.
This evening, gardaí announced that a photograph will be made public tomorrow.
One theory being probed is that the girl could be a victim of sex trafficking.
It emerged in late October that an email with personal details of the girl was accidentally sent to a member of the public.
The email had been sent by the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA), with the intended recipients being members of the trade union within the HSE. However, the owner of a business that had a name similar to the HSE instead received the email.
