THE LATE DEREK Davis, who passed away yesterday, will be laid to rest at Mount Jerome cemetery in Dublin on Monday.
The veteran broadcaster died aged 67 after a short illness.
Tributes poured in from people across the broadcasting world after news of his death broke.
Davis will be removed on Monday to the Victorian Chapel in Mount Jerome Crematorium, where he will be cremated at a 2pm funeral service.
His funeral notice on RIP.ie includes the phrase “tight lines”, a phrase believed to refer to his love of fishing.
Davis was known for hosting shows including Live at 3, alongside Thelma Mansfield, and being a team captain on Play The Game.
The presenter had spoken of his health issues, and how he had lost five stone after undergoing gastric surgery in the past few years.
