Police arrest man selling fake tickets to Adele and Justin Bieber gigs in Dublin and Belfast
Did you buy tickets from Gumtree for the concerts in Belfast or Dublin? The police want to hear from you.

A MAN HAS been arrested for selling fake tickets to the Adele and Justin Bieber concerts in Northern Ireland and the Republic.

Detectives in Strabane said they are investigating an internet scam involving the sale of fake tickets over the last few weeks for the forthcoming concerts of Adele in Belfast and Justin Beiber in Dublin next year.

Police arrested the man and interviewed him, before releasing him on bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector Lindsey Kitson said that as part of the ongoing investigation the police want to ensure the public that they will identify as many people as possible who may have been victims of this fraud.

We believe tickets for the Justin Beiber and Adele concerts were offered in a group of four from the Gumtree website and a subsequent face to face transaction took place involving the exchange of money for fake tickets.

The police said they want to hear from anyone who has bought tickets for these concerts from a man after seeing an offer on Gumtree.
