PART OF DUBLIN’S south quay has been closed after a pedestrian was hit by a truck at Aston quay this morning.
Gardaí say that the south quay is currently closed to traffic from O’Connell St bridge to Capel Street bridge resulting in delays to traffic in the area.
Diversions are in place but traffic is extremely heavy in the city, according to AA Roadwatch.
RTÉ News reports that Dublin Bus routes 145, 25, 39, 66, 67, 70, 78, 79 have all been affected by the closure.
