OVER 6,000 HOMES and businesses nationwide are without power this morning as Storm Jake makes landfall.
Over half of the outages are in the Balgaddy area of Dublin, with people in Kerry, Donegal, Galway, Tipperary, Limerick, Wicklow, Mayo and other parts of the capital also without supply.
ESB crews have been out since early this morning working to restore power across the country.
Customers have been asked to check esbpowercheck.ie for the latest updates.
If their power cut is not listed, they should call 1850 372999 to report it.
The outages come as four Met Éireann warnings remain in effect this morning:
