Motorcyclist dies after crash involving a car in Co Down

The man – aged in his 40s – was travelling along the Castlewellan Road.

A MAN HAS died following a two-vehicle collision in Co Down last night.

At around 8.30pm, a motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a car.

The 43-year-old man who was driving the bike died as a result of his injuries.

The crash happened on the Castlewellan Road in Cabra, north-east of Newry.

In a statement, the PSNI urged anyone with information or anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
