TODAY IS SET to be another beautiful day with temperatures reaching 25 degrees in parts of the country but, make the most of it if you can because, rain is forecast for the entire country later this week.

Parts of southwest Munster will experience isolated showers today but the rest of Ireland will be warm and dry with good sunshine throughout, according to Met Éireann.

Top temperatures will range from 21 to 25 degrees in inland parts but it will be cooler on the south and east coasts, with some mist or haze in temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees and moderate northeast breezes. The night is set to be mild and humid.

Tomorrow is forecast to be another good day with highest temperatures reaching 22, or even 23, degrees. However some heavy showers could break out in western areas later in the afternoon. There will be moderate sea breezes in coastal parts.

More unsettled weather is expected for the rest of the week with Met Éireann forecasting showery weather throughout Ireland on Friday and over the weekend.
