This is what the Moors murderer Ian Brady looks like today
The 75-year-old has reportedly been force-fed since 1999.
IAN BRADY WAS responsible for the brutal murders of five children in the UK between 1963 and 1965.
For almost three years, he terrorised the Saddleworth Moor area of northwest England with his partner-in-crime Myra Hindley.
Even decades after being caught and tried for the crimes, he kept the location of some of his victims’ remains a secret. Last year, the mother of 12-year-old Keith Bennett, Winnie Johnson, died without ever locating her beloved son and giving him the Christian burial she so desired.
Brady tortured her into her final days, teasing her with the possibility of a letter that indicated where he buried his third victim. In the end, the confession was never found by investigating officers.
Today, the 75-year-old appeared in court to plead his sanity as he wants to be transferred from the high-security hospital he is currently held – and force-fed – in to a normal prison. It is thought that he could try to starve himself to death if he is granted his request.
