ANTHONY NASH AND Davy Fitzgerald are renowned as inter-county hurling stars but they swapped their hurleys for golf clubs today at Fota Island.
Nash was in goal for Cork last Sunday as they overturned the Clare side managed by Fitzgerald in the Munster senior hurling semi-final.
Today the duo played in the Irish Open Pro-Am ahead of the start of the first round of the 2014 Irish Open tomorrow.
Nash was playing in the company of Scottish golfer Marc Warren while Fitzgerald played with Waterford golfer Kevin Phelan.
