21-year-old killed in overnight Limerick crash

The young man was pronounced dead at the scene.

GARDAÍ IN LIMERICK are investigating a fatal road traffic collision in which a 21-year-old man was killed.

The crash occurred at approximately 4am when the car he was driving left the road and struck a tree on the N21 south of Adare village.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is currently closed to traffic and diversions are in place. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and the garda forensic collision investigators have been requested to the scene.
