1. #NO DEAL: The Brexit border drama continued today as it emerged that no deal has been made despite earlier rumours that the UK had made some concessions on the matter.

2. #COMPENSATION: An art therapy teacher who was sacked after admitting to being in a relationship with a mental health patient was awarded €5,000 for unfair dismissal. 

3. #APPLE TAX: Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe confirmed that Apple will start paying back the €13 billion in tax it owes the country in the New Year.

4. #ATTACK: A woman was left with serious injuries after acid was poured on her face in Blackrock, Dublin.

5. #DRUGS: Three men were arrested in Drogheda after gardaí seized a large quantity of cocaine.
