Here at TheJournal.ie HQ we’re busy out bringing you the news over the festive period and it’s the same in many newsrooms around the world with articles to be published, papers to be put to bed, and broadcasts to be, er, broadcast.

It’s a hard old slog but you have to have a bit of craic beyond eating turkey and ham sandwiches and hopping off the box of Roses.
