Watch: Thief got bystanders to help load stolen motorbike into van in broad daylight

Gardaí say the theft is under investigation but no arrests have yet been made.

A MOTORBIKE WAS stolen from a outside a shop in Dublin in broad daylight earlier this month.

The thief has been captured on CCTV footage and can be seen asking two people in the nearby car park to help load the bike into his van.

The two people who helped were innocent bystanders who did not know the bike was being stolen.

The 1100cc 2010 Ducati Hypermotard was taken from the Moto4U shop in Rathfarnham village at lunchtime on 3 July.

Gardaí say the theft is under investigation but no arrests have yet been made.

Anyone who is offered the bike for sale or with any information is being asked to contact gardai in Rathfarnham on 01 6666500.
