
Fianna Fáil TD Michael Mulcahy will be seeking re-election in Dublin South-Central. Mulcahy was elected to Dáil Éireann in 2002 after four previous unsuccessful attempts, holding on to his seat in 2007 when he received over 15 per cent of first-preference votes. Mulcahy is also a practising barrister at the Dublin Bar, a position which he has held since 1985.
