2. #SHE’S BACK Rebekah Brooks is back in charge of The Sunday Times and The Sun. She left News Corp in 2011, receiving a €22million payoff.

3. #MELTDOWN A massive Eircom outage has been causing huge problems this afternoon across the country. It has affected mobile and landlines, including those belonging to Dublin Fire Brigade and the Central Bank.

4. #LONDON A HIV clinic in London accidentally revealed the HIV-positive status of 780 clients in an email. The clinic has apologised for what occurred.

5. #FENNELLY Taoiseach Enda Kenny is facing a motion of no confidence in the wake of the Fennelly report. Fianna Fáil is to table the motion. Meanwhile, Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams said Kenny’s position had become “untenable”.
