THE AMERICAN STORE JC Penney has come under fire this week after Reddit users pointed out that one of their kettles resembled Adolf Hitler.

JCP denied that the kettle looked like the Nazi dictator and said the resemblance was entirely “unintentional”.

At the moment, the $40 Michael Graves designed kitchen utensil has sold out on the JC Penney site. It was out put on eBay for $199.99, but it also sold out there!

The kettle looks like it has sweeping side-parted, black hair, a mustache and the spout resembles a saluting arm. (Hitler image: History In A Hour/Flickr)
