Renewed appeal for information about sudden death of 17-year-old girl

Tori Johnston collapsed in Voodoo nightclub on 15 July last year.

GARDAÍ HAVE RENEWED an appeal for information about a secondary school student whose sudden death this time last year devastated her family.

On 15 July 2015, 17-year-old Tori Johnston collapsed at Voodoo Nightclub in Letterkenny, Donegal.

She was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital where she died at 6.30am.

To date investigations have been unable to get to the bottom of what happened on the night.

Tori Johnston had been a 5th year student at Loreto College.

An appeal last year sought anyone who may have photos or video footage of the night in question.

Today gardaí said that they believed there may be people who were in the nightclub at the time of her death that are yet to come forward.

They also thanked everyone that has come forward so far in the investigation, and reiterated that anyone coming forward will “be dealt with in the strictest of confidence”.

Anyone with any information about the case can contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
