Here's the average price of a home in Lucan in 2017

According to the latest analysis from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Lucan is now more than €300,000, according to the latest figures.

Analysis by Daft.ie of all properties listed in the third quarter of 2017 puts the average price in the area at €308,464.

This is significantly below the average Dublin asking price of just under €395,000. Lucan is the 75th most expensive place to buy in Dublin city and county, out of 117 neighbourhoods in the analysis.

Nevertheless, prices in the area have increased by more than 60 per cent since 2012, when they were at their lowest. The average then was just over €190,000.

At the peak of the boom in 2006, the average property in Lucan was listed at more than €400,000.
