Man’s body discovered at a house in Drogheda

Gardaí say the discovery of a 58-year-old man in the early hours of this morning is not being treated as suspicious.

THE BODY OF a man was discovered at a house in Drogheda, Co Louth in the early hours of this morning.

The 58-year-old was discovered at a house in Ship Street by a passer-by at around 4.30am.

Gardaí say at this point that the are not treating the death as suspicious but are investigating.

The body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where a post mortem will be carried out later today.
