Minister announces 150 new jobs for Cork

Minister for Enterprise Richard Bruton said that SouthWestern would be adding to its 450-strong workforce in Clonakilty.

ONE-HUNDRED-AND-fifty new jobs are to be created in west Cork following an announcement by the Minister for Enterprise this morning.

Richard Bruton announced that SouthWestern, a company that provides outsourced services in the areas of finance, human resources and customer relations management, will create 150 new jobs at its base in Clonakilty in Co Cork.

The company will also invest €3.5 million in research and development with support from Enterprise Ireland.

It currently employs 450 people in Ireland and another 150 at its Polish base in Lodz.It also has offices in Dublin.
