Three men arrested in Dublin murder investigation

The three were arrested this morning over the death of Christopher Warren, who was dropped off at St James’s Hospital in late December with major injuries.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested as part of the investigation into the shooting dead of a 36-year-old man in Phibsboro in Dublin just after Christmas.

All three were arrested this morning by Gardaí from Mountjoy station. Two of the men are in their 20s while the third is in his 60s.

The three are being held at Garda stations in the north inner city.

Christopher Warren was dropped off at St James’s Hospital on 28 December with gunshot injuries. He died at the hospital a short time later.

A blue Mercedes which was used to drive him to the hospital was found abandoned on nearby Cork Street soon afterwards.

Five people in total have now been arrested in connection with the murder investigation.
