Northern Ireland is Vanity Fair's new cover star

Are ya well? Because you’re lookin’ well.

NEVER MIND THE cast of Game of Thrones, Northern Ireland is the real star of the new Vanity Fair cover.

Renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz flew in to capture the province in all its glory as part of a Game of Thrones themed photo shoot for the magazine.

Here is the rather glamorous result.

Not content with merely capturing some stunning stills of the countryside, the team at Vanity Fair filmed a few very nice videos with the cast in Northern Ireland too.

This behind the scenes short shows us how the whole thing was put together, and features all your favourite characters freezing their backsides off against the backdrop of some rather fabulous scenery.
