Skinny dippers miss out on world record

A GROUP OF about 200 men and women just missed out on the world record for the biggest skinny dip this morning.

The North East Skinny Dip was organised to raise money for mental health charity Mind in England. It saw completely naked bathers jump into the sea at sunrise, none too bothered that there were not enough of them to get their names in the record book.

Organiser Jax Higginson said, “I am a little speechless. I feel so overwhelmed by all your support, as stewards, as helpers, as organisers, as motivators, as dippers! Such a beautiful morning. Thank you, for your nakedness and spirit, forever.”
