Your pics: Yep, it's snowing in parts of Ireland

This is not a drill.

MAYO AND CLARE are reporting snow tonight, and from what we can see in these photos our readers sent in, it’s falling thick and fast.

Earlier today, the Road Safety Authority urged motorists to take care on the roads as an Atlantic storm is due to hit the country tonight – and snow makes it all the more important that people stay vigilant on the roads.

Met Éireann have put the country on ‘orange alert‘, saying the worst weather is due to hit at around 3am. Expect higher tides, heavy rain, a threat of flooding, and gales.
