THE SUNNY WEATHER looks set to stay until Thursday when showers are expected to hit.

Today will stay sunny and dry with highs of 20 degrees.

The sunshine is staying around for tomorrow with highs also set to reach 20 degrees but mostly in the west, the rest of the country can expect highs of 16 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will also be dry and sunny with highs of 18 degrees for the midlands and west on Wednesday.

However, the nights will be cold with a risk of grass frost in places.

Met Eireann says it will turn more unsettled towards the end of the week with some patchy outbreaks of rain looking set to hit on Thursday.

“More widespread outbreaks of rain seem likely to feed in from the south on Friday.”
