Every single day for the month of October we’re giving away a different prize. It’s our way of saying a very big thanks to all of you for reading us (can you believe it’s been five years? Cos we can’t).

From small beginnings back in October 2010, TheJournal.ie has grown to be one of the biggest news websites in the country.

So what about today’s prize? Well, it’s a good one.

Three winners will each receive a family pass plus wristbands to access all rides and attractions, just in time for the Halloween fright fest at Tayto Park.

For the first time ever, there will be a Tayto Park After Dark Experience, where visitors can confront the darkness and ride the terrifying Cú Chulainn Coaster in the dark of the night.

From 6pm – 9pm from Tuesday 27 October to Friday 30 October, visitors can experience a night ride on the Cú Chulainn Coaster, the Air Race and the Rotator, watch a ghoulish 5D Halloween movie in the 5D cinema and experience the gruesome House of Horrors. Ghouls, ghosts, goblins and all things thoroughly horrifying will be experienced in the Tayto Park House of Horrors.

But don’t worry if you’re not a fan of being spooked,  the family pass for each winner can be used at any time and includes 4 entrance passes to Tayto Park with wristbands giving you access to all areas and all rides and attractions for one full day.

To win all you have to do is email competitions@thejournal.ie by 11.59pm tonight with TAYTO PARK in the subject line. Include your name and contact number so we can give you a call if you win.

The three winners will be chosen at random from all the entries and will be notified either by email or by phone.

Good luck everyone!

And stay tuned – we’re going to have prizes up for grabs every single day this month. We’re good like that.

The small print: We won’t use your email address or phone number to contact you unless you win. Each prize consists of a family pass for four people to Tayto Park plus wristbands to access all rides and attractions for one full day. The names of all competition winners will be published on TheJournal.ie. Think of us when you’re on the Cú Chulainn Coaster.
