@Brendan – I think the person in The Journal, responsible for monitoring emerging trends in media, hasn’t realised it’s an American game, yet.

Then you’ll get individuals like Phillip, above, who get caught up in the excitement generated by the media, and manage to convince themselves they are interested in the game.

I never said it was. I insituated that the excitement was like the world cup for some people.

Guaranteed that if the sport was an English game or a sport from any other country aside from the US, you’d have less of a problem with it.
