WIFI IS BEING rolled out at Dublin airport, meaning that millions of people who pass through its doors every year will be able to access the internet on their portable devices.

The Dublin Airport Authority has partnered with eircom to roll-out eircom WiFiHub in Dublin Airport, as part of eircom’s plans to expand and upgrade its WiFi service throughout Ireland.

It aims to expand to more than 4,000 WiFi hotspots by 2013.

eircomWiFi Hub at Dublin Airport will allow eircom broadband, eMobile and Meteor customers to connect to the Internet for free throughout the airport.

Meanwhile, eircom landline and non-eircom customers can also access the eircom WiFiHub for free for the first 10 minutes and then for a flat rate charge of €1, which gives the user access to the WiFi service until midnight on that day.
