Woman "buried in box" by partner - but survives

The woman was allegedly shot with a tazer and then buried alive by her partner, who wanted to bring the relationship to an end, a court was told.

A WOMAN IN her twenties survived being shot by an electric stun gun, bound and gagged and then buried alive by her partner, a jury was told yesterday.

BBC News reports that the incident occurred after Marcin Kasprzak (25) got “bored” of Michelina Lewandowska (27), his partner and the mother of his child.

Kasprzak is accused of attempted murder, along with Patryk Borys (18), both of the Huddersfield area.

They denied the charges at Leeds Crown Court.

The Telegraph reports that Lewandowska and Kasprzak have a two-year-old son.

It is alleged that Lewandowska was attacked and imprisoned in the box by the two accused, who then dug a shallow grave in a wooded area and buried her alive.

The victim was able to get out of the box – even though her alleged attackers had placed a 40kg tree branch on top of it.

In the lead up to the event Kasprzak had changed his Facebook status to single and stayed out all night away from Lewandowska, said the BBC.

According to the Telegraph, after the alleged event, Kasprzak and Borys used the victim’s bank card to take £500 out of an ATM.

The trial continues.
