1. #GARDA COMMISSIONER: Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said he wants a new Garda Commissioner to be appointed “sooner rather than later“.

4. #PRISON: Inmates have been given €500,000 in interest-free loans by the Irish Prison Service over the past three years.
