Chloe Willingham, 17, and Kelsey Dyson, 16, admitted breaking into the home of a 14-year-old girl and beating her up at Chester Crown Court.

Willingham, of Belmont Road, Anfield, admitted aggravated burglary and actual bodily harm and was sentenced to three years behind bars.

Dyson, of Ampthill Road, Aigburth, was sentenced to a two-year detention and training order.

Just in case anyone was wondering. Happened in 2011 so wont be long now until they are out and about.

Seems wrong the video is doing the rounds yet again if this happened in 2011. While I’m all for freedom of speach and no censorship of the internet common decency has just gone right out the window. Must be horrible for the victim to know this video is still being distributed.

However we must remain forever vigilant even if we sometimes get it wrong. Now that we have access to reply and I commend the Journal on giving us that, it does not mean we give up our right to criticise if we think it necessary.

I did ask the Journal to clarify and got no reply.

This issue to me was about the credibility of the the Journal and has nothing to do with any of the comments posted.

I was only referring to a previous article by the Journal which became untrue early durning the day but not recognised by the author until this evening.

It’s the problem of having a conscience, do not be fooled, I manage to overcome it if it becomes a burden.

A well known mantra of the print media the author of which shall remain nameless ” never let the truth get in the way of a good story” .
