Man arrested after calling 911... about his broken iPhone

The man made five calls – but it’s not clear how he thought police could help him with his malfunctioning phone.

A MAN WAS arrested by police in the USA after he called 911 – because he couldn’t get his iPhone to work.

According to a sheriff’s office report, Michael Alan Skopec was arrested in Bristol, Illinois after calling 911 five times to complain that his iPhone wasn’t working.

The Smoking Gun reports that the calls were traced to 48-year-old Skopec’s home and when police arrived there, he refused to comply with orders.

Skopec was arrested – but didn’t divulge how he thought the police could help him with his broken phone.
