Man charged over Wicklow murder

The body of Stephen O’Meara was found in a shallow grave in 2009.

A MAN IS due to appear in court today charged in relation to the murder of Stephen O’Meara in 2009.

The body of 26-year-old Stephen O’Meara was discovered in a shallow grave in a wooded area near Red Cross in Wicklow in December 2009.

He had gone missing from Wicklow town in August of that year.

The man in his 40s is expected to appear before a sitting of Bray District Court at 12 noon today.
