Missing 15-year-old girl found safe and well

She had been missing from her home in Cork for almost a week.

A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD girl who had been missing in Cork has been found safe and well, gardaí confirmed this afternoon.

The teenager had been missing from her home in Knocknaheeny since last Monday.

A missing persons appeal was issued on Friday.

In a statement today, gardaí said she had been located and thanked the public for their assistance.
