28 years ago today, Coca-Cola replaced their secret formula with a new flavour. Despite pre-release testing which found people preferred the new recipe, there was a public outcry and cases of “old” Coke were even being hoarded. Some called it a business blunder, others called it marketing genius. The company recalled today exactly what happened.
