I’ll be getting up at 3:30am to watch it here in Japan. Not every year we qualify for a major tournament so not a chance I’d miss the game.

Sitting in work in my Ireland jersey from 96 season, from when the Irish team started its decline, haven’t bought a jersey since then, as I refuse to give money to the FAI until the start to support the grassroots football properly . Then and only then will we see a proper Irish team. I will give my support to the lads and should be there but hadn’t got the money for this game.

Would not be surprised if Doyle and Long and a couple more will not play for Trappatoni again……it is an absolute disgrace how they have been treated along with Kevin Foley, Trap should resign because i do not think the boys are going to support him any longer. You i am sick to death of hearing “we are not good enough” , absolute bull*** to be very honest , if the team selection was the right one the team would have been full of confidence, it is very obvious the players have lost faith with the Boss, and if you lose faith in your boss then things start falling apart as well witnessed the last two games.

I’ll watch it at home as opposed to on the pub, which I never thought I’d say for a tournament match. Guess that’s how a couple of hammerings will deflate ya…. !

I’m not a huge football follower but a bit of luck in Poland would have given a lot of people a badly needed morale boost, misguided or not. Solidarity will have me tuning in tonight…

You know – I don’t really have any interest in soccer, but the Irish fans have been an absolute credit to the team and the country. I’ll tune in, just to watch the fans. If the team pulls out a result or even a draw, that’s a bonus.

I am in the US and in work so will get text alerts but I am really disappointed that Trap decided to make no changes , there is nothing to play for. Why not give Long , McClean and Gibson a run , can do no worse than Keane , McGeady and Whelan have done.
