Two men arrested following incident on board Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Dublin

A man has been charged in relation to the incident on board the flight that landed at Dublin airport last night.

GARDAÍ ARRESTED TWO men on board a Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Dublin last night following an incident during the flight.

A 22-year-old man has been charged in relation to the incident whilst another man in his 50s has been released. The two men are believed to be Irish citizens.

TheJournal.ie understands that a complaint was made to gardaí after a person was hit with a bottle thrown during the flight.

Two men were arrested and brought to Santry Garda Station after Ryanair flight FR449 from Liverpool landed at Dublin airport last night.

The 22-year-old man who was charged will appear before the Dublin Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am on 10 June.

Ryanair said it does not comment on “minor flight incidents”.
