Woman stabbed in the hand in Dublin city assault

Gardaí are appealing for information, in particular regarding the identity of two males who left the scene in the direction of College Green.

GARDAÍ AT PEARSE Street in Dublin are appealing for witnesses following an assault at Spring Garden Street today.

At approximately 11am a 24-year-old female sustained injuries to her hand when she was stabbed during an altercation at a premises on Spring Garden Street.

The woman was taken to St. James’s Hosptial where she is undergoing treatment.

Investigating gardaí are appealing for information and in particular information regarding the identities of two males who left the scene on foot in the direction of College Green.

The first male has been described as 5′ 9” – 6′ tall, wearing a black jacket with the hood up, blue jeans, black runners, aged mid to late 30s with a thin to average build.

The second male is 5’7” – 5′ 9” tall, aged late 30s to early 40s, wearing a grey jacket with white check pattern on the rear and jeans.
