Agree 100% to be honest I think the day of the do gooder is swiftly coming to an end. They may have done their cause more harm than good as people in this country are so sick of crime they are fed up with their usual mantra.

to see so much blood, i was there to get my methadone,which I am very glad to get from the state, It was somewhere I never imagined in a million years i would end up.I am now 50yrs old was in hotel management
till about seven years ago, till one day i decided to try Heroin, I thought i had found the solution to my problem.
I had been raped for around 3 yrs from 6yrs to 9yrs of age. I never told anybody about what happened to me,
then eventually i drank heavy ,lost my job started smoking heroin. i ended up losing my wife,family,friends all
for the sake of my new partner in life {Heroin} I sold my house,my car,anything to get money for smack. I eventually got help in Pearse st clinic, most of the people I meet in there suffered Trauma when they where
young,got no help ended up the same as me,I cant explain how hard it is to stop,logic just goes out the window
you make decisions that make no sense,i never had to rob anybody to get money for my habit,Its not till you get clean and you see the mess you have created. I got to know alot of people in the clinic some were bad but most were lost like me,i was lucky I had a good family, who welcomed me back {with caution}at first,most
of the clients dont have anybody to love or care about them,I dont have an issue with people who have had
bad experiences with addicts,but please take the vitriol out of it. I would not wish anyone to experience
walking in my shoes for a day,Some days i just feel like finishing my self off,some days i feel o.k. but please
dont give up on compassion,it what saved my life in the end. thanks.
