Financial services firm announces 200 new jobs

Fidelity Investments plans to create the new jobs in Dublin and Galway.

ONE OF THE world’s largest providers of financial services, Fidelity Investments, has announced plans to create 200 new jobs in Dublin and Galway.

The company has said that it plans to hire 200 ‘highly skilled professionals’ for its global operations with jobs ranging from entry level to management positions.

The jobs will be in the area of back office operations – such as accounting and human resources – and enterprise services and will be a supported by IDA Ireland, the government agency responsible for attracting foreign investment into Ireland.

Fidelity Investments established its presence in Ireland in 1996 and currently employs almost 500 people at its bases in Galway and Dublin.

It is considered one of the world’s largest providers of financial services with assets under administration of $3.8 trillion.
