Google Street View updates Dublin images...and the employees lend a hand

All 2,000 of the company’s Dublin staff took to the streets to pose and wave for the Street View car.

GOOGLE HAS UPDATED its Street View images for Dublin, and its staff in the Docklands-based HQ have made sure their area is well represented.

The Sociable reports that when the Street View cameras were out and about in Dublin a few months back, the Google employees took to Barrow Street in the Docklands to wave and say ‘Hi mum!’.

Google’s European, Middle East and Africa headquarters are based in Dublin. Google has been renting the office space since 2004, and finally purchased it earlier this year. Google also owns Dublin’s tallest commercial property, the Montevetro building. Some teams were relocated there earlier this year.

According to The Sociable the original Street View images were launched in September of last year, while these new ones were recorded in May of this year.
