THE NATIONAL TREASURY Management Agency said they have sold €500 million of Irish Treasury Bills – reaching it’s target amount.
Total bids received amounted to 4.8 times the amount on offer.
The Treasury Bills, which have a maturity of three months, were sold at a yield of 0.19 per cent.
The sale today is similar to another NTMA auction last month that also raised €500 million and an annual interest rate of 0.24 per cent.
