Good day for Limerick as new fuel plant needs 142 workers

CPL FUELS IRELAND is to employ 142 people at its new plant in Foynes, county Limerick.

The €22 million facility will produce smokeless, low carbon solid fuels. Some 100 will be required to staff the plant, while another 42 will be employed in sales, distribution and maintenance.

The announcement of the “much-needed jobs” was made by Minister Phil Hogan this morning. He used the opportunity to highlight the importance of moving to a low-carbon economy.
