PARTS OF CORK have taken a battering with heaving flooding overnight – but it’s not all bad news for the Rebel County today.
A customer call centre has announced 50 permanent jobs in Cork. Zevas already employs 200 people in Cork at its Monahan Road site.
The positions will range from junior to senior sales professionals and management, as well as some positions in IT and quality assurance. Recruitment for the roles will begin immediately.
The company said it currently interacts with more than 35,000 customers every week at its Cork site.
Minister for Research and Innovation Sean Sherlock said the announcement was “fantastic news for the Cork region”.
It has been a good seven days for Cork on the employment front – a total of 731 jobs were announced for the county last week.
