LOOK CAREFULLY AT this young man – you might be (okay, we might be) looking to him for a job some day.

Jordan Casey, from Waterford, will be making a pitch on the very first Junior Dragons’ Den tonight on RTÉ1 for the company of which he is CEO. And yes, he’s 13 years of age.

Casey Games is his business – a computer gaming creation company which has produced four games so far with 1,500 downloads. He started coding when he was just 9 and founded Casey Games over a year ago when he hadn’t yet hit his teens.

His enthusiasm is infections. He tells a pre-Dragons’ Den interview:

You can imagine something and do anything with programming. You can make games, you can make websites, you can make clocks or watches…

And this is before he even starts pitching the dragons, including tech entrepreneur Seán O’Sullivan who he will particularly have in his sights tonight.

Also watch out for Shane Curran, another 13-year-old who taught himself programming at the age of 7 and created an automatic smartphone- and cloud-based library system called Libramatic.

This is the cool, calm and collected Jordan Casey. Click here if you can’t see the video below.
