A CYCLIST WAS hit by a Luas tram on the Red Line this morning.
It happened on Mayor Street Lower at around 7.50am.
An ambulance arrived at the scene and the cyclist has been taken to hospital.
It’s understood that the cyclists injuries are minor.
Services were disrupted on the line for a time with trams only running between Tallaght/ Saggart and Connolly.
However, a spokesperson for Transdev told TheJournal.ie that services have now been restored.
