11-year-old charged over Ardoyne

AN 11-YEAR-OLD BOY HAS BEEN charged in connection to the Ardoyne riots which began on 12 July, BBC Northern Ireland reports. The boy, who is due to appear in court later this month, has been charged with riotous assembly and possession of an offensive weapon. He cannot be named for legal reasons, and is due back in court on 29 September.
